Was a quick booking as the other guest house where I booked forgot to note that they were full and I didn't have accommodation at the time. This institution was able to help me quickly. Although I feel the space was very small for the price, it was clean, comfortable and safe and we slept very well. We will always book here again.
Place was very neat. Thank you very much for the friendly reception at such short notice. Highly recommend the place.
We had a lovely stay there. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Very friendly hostess and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend Summerhill Self-Catering Apartments and would love to go back myself.
Lots of club music and main road noise. Also very hot and can't close the windows for noise because there is no air-conditioning.
All that was bad were the tree's fruits that fell on my car!

On arrival we were informed that as there were no other guest we had been upgraded to a better room for no additional cost. This was greatly appreciated.

The unit was clean and tidy, and comfortably furnished. The communal braai area was a winner, we had a great time. Will choose Summerhill again if we are in the area.
It was a bonus that we were allowed to braai on both nights (wood and fire lighters were provided to us!) under a very comfortable lapa. Our vehicle was safe. Their guard dog (Molly) is just the most lovable creature! The manager was very friendly but left us in peace to enjoy ourselves.
We needed a bed and ablutions for an overnight stop. Met our needs. Parking was a bit cramped for our Ford Ranger but I guess that is a hazard when using a comfortable 4x4 for traversing Baviaanskloof.
Great spot with everything very close by including the main beach and Spar.
We arrived a bit late around 19:00 and we found the place already opened for us. Quite what my partner and I needed to rest from our busy work lives and our kids. Very near the sea and that one was a plus. The service was excellent and the Wi-Fi.
Friendliest staff members, really enjoyed our stay. Close to town, within walking distance of pubs, restaurants. Pleasurable and very neat, quaint little home away from home.
The place was a little small, lacking in storage and kitchen space. But cleanliness, customer service and the location made up for it.

Summerhill is an accommodation that can be recommended at any time. The unit we stayed in is fantastic value for money. If there was any shortcoming, it was that only the sports TV channels were available.
